New Year came with a surprise transfer letter! I was supposed to take charge of a new office within 4 days. Though I was fortunate enough to get a house in new place without much ado, but circumstances had their way finally. I found myself struggling among places, priorities & responsibilities in such a short period. My “idiot box” and all house hold belongings are yet to be shifted to the new place. Forbidden from good night sleep, I resorted to novels and magazines, but all in vain. My only companion these days is my loneliness, and she is not lovely for sure!
We seldom realize the importance of people around us unless we are forced to live without them. Past few months have taught me scores of lessons. I have learnt to treat trivial things trivially and feel the eternal bliss and happiness of most simple and loving moments. Nowadays I envy every other couple walking down the street, holding their hands. Nostalgia grips me more often and I miss my college days & college friends lot more.
“ Tujhse naraj naheen Jindgi, hairan hoon main “ is the default song in every play-list that plays on ‘Winamp’ these days. Not for the sadness or solitude that it evokes but for the philosophical dilemma which this song creates. If we can feel the hardship, pain and suffering of every kind which thousand of people go through everyday, we will never waste even a second of our valuable life worrying for power, status or money. Our life will blossom like spring flowers who share their fragrance with world.
Day before yesterday I got an unusual information about an IITian (working with a big CANADian MNC) whom I met long back. His work keeps him engaged for a minimum of 12 hours a day and 6 days a week, even then he runs a school for unprivileged children ( free of cost) in a remote village and bears all the expenses. He is a role model for most of his colleagues because of his politeness and down to earth behavior…and he is one of the best customers’ representatives I have met till date among my entire customers. One BIG truth about his life - he is not in dilemma!

I think you will atleast bring the friends around you out of dilemma, if not the entire world.
Waiting for more action on this blog.

– I have learnt this for a long time now, and have become an exeprt in that. Whatever I do as creative writing, comes out of the ‘trivial’ things, which any how don’t escape from my span of views.

See, I used exactly the same phrase “Life blossoming like spring” when I wished all my friends for Holi. So, there is a connect in our thinking and writing also!
